    Thanks for the high honor.

You have brilliantly created a charming 'stand-out' pink color filled artwork, also with hearts shapes personified via the pillows and the 'Valentine' gift that the adorable looking cat is holding. I see your art as an ideal cover art for a Valentine's Day card, and for Calendar art to showcase the month of February.

Hallmark is a dirty word to me from a years back contest. When i go into stores i wonder how many artists have been screwed over while Hallmark makes the money. I am so glad that you have enjoyed this. Maybe this one might finally get the committees attention..ya just never know..wink..glad you have enjoyed this and it is always good to hear from you. thanks for the awesome review.

I have illustrated for some writers that has been published..I learned closed to a decade ago that hallmark is a scam to artist. They like to use that BS pitch "your work will be presented to the world!"..yeah and they are the only one making the money. They had this BS contest were the winner wins a $1000. When you read the smaller print it announced that the $1000 will be applied Hallmark classes that cost $1500. So if you win we let pay 500 instead 1500. I won't even watch their channel. Glad you have enjoyed this and thanks for the awesome review

Aw! So cute. Your great imagination has created another awesome cartoon showing this adorable kitty sitting on the pink sofa - great entry for the contest by the way. The snow seen falling in the background window makes one shiver but Kitty is obviously snug and warm. I like how you framed this with the draped curtains. Excellent detail, as always, Mark. Great job! Suzanne

This topic I might have a chance with the committee. Well at least 2nd place. One thing that I have noticed about the committee is they aren't voting on work with imagination. They made that clear in the pet art contest. 5 selected in the 1-3rd place..all dog portrait facials only with hardly any backgrounds..just facial...all dogs. I made the mistake of doing cats dressed up like gang bangers doing a selfie. You know creativity..but that got me excluded. The other contest Well let's face it..art before cartoons. Getting to be a trend with this committee. Glad you have enjoyed this and thanks for the awesome review

Yes, it's strange what appeals to one person doesn't to another!

I think this is s cute and certainly would make a great card! I love all the details. I don't think people are aware of how much work goes into arts like this with so much detail. It's like people saying my work is AI because they simply can't tell the difference between the two when you can obviously see if it's AI or not if you have a background in digital work. I used to do work like your in college for art classes. There is ALOT that goes in to it, so yes, I agree with you. I will sometimes use the same description towards the end of my reviews but I always address goods and bad in a image. How will people learn otherwise?

Sadly my education is hands on with thousands of drawings over the half century. In the 1960's, living in a middle of nowhere that was a depressed economy where art classes were not offered in school. When I was 12, I checked a book from the library on how to draw human form..basic start up. That helped but my real teachers were DC, Marvel comics, Warren publishing (eerie, creepy, vamperilla) and Heavy Metal. My parents would say..art is a hobby not a trade. I think to myself if I had any real classes and the.support of my folks what kind of artist would I turn out to be? I don't ponder on that too long..just keep drawing..wink. thanks for the awesome review

Way TOO adorable-lol! Love this sweet kitty with the big blue eyes, snuggled on the pink sofa framed between two pink heart pillows, who could resist? Would be nice to cuddle this sweetheart and stay warm while it snows outside. Another of your incredible sharpie/bic masterpieces; my very best wishes to you!
