This is truly beautiful. I know that feeling of w anting to capture the beauty of an object or image because it makes such an impact on you. That does show in your work. You used the simplest tools of an artist and created a masterpiece. Very talented. I enjoyed viewing this. Your sister must have loved it.

This deserves a much higher rating than six, I'd rate a 10 star. I can't find the words for your talent. I wrote a very long review for this and my phone deleted it before I could send it, so this is my second review.
This art is amazing. Your talent is one right up there with Norman Rockwell in my eyes.

Good afternoon Linda. This is a beautiful rendition of a young woman. I would never have suspected less. Additionally, I notice a change in your portraiture style. There appears to be more freedom of movement in your drawing giving more texture and a certain level of roughness where I think gives more life to the drawing. Very nice developmental change. Reasons for my six star vote.

You achieved exactly what you were going for Linda, because this lady with the tiara is indeed beautiful. I especially like the dark textured background with a lit area behind the woman's
head and also the shadings of the skin.
The portrait is done paying such a good attention to details, and with fine distinctions between light and dark.
The format and framing is perfect, and the woman has got a very good placement of the paper. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well done drawing, and I wish you luck with the contest.
