some ivies have a smell when you rip them down. nice capture. the angle of the shot of this vine attached to the tree is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

I just love this photo for its simplicity, and how well the green leaves are standing out from gnarled bark of a tree. I especially like how well you have brought out the textures if it. The green colors are also crisp and clear.

The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen both in the leaves and the bark. The exposure is just spot on.

The format is perfect and I really like the diagonal placement of the leaves within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest, and I also wish I had 6 stars to give.

thank you, I’m allergic to poison ivy, so II really need to know the difference-lol! Saying for poison by goes like this: "Leaflets three, let it be; berries white hide from sight"

A very interesting and unique visual presented here. I wonder where the next leaves are going to appear. Composition shades, tones, and presentation as well done. Good luck in the contest.

It is always nice to see alternate approaches. The colour green really speaks here.I also like the gentle background which seems to lead the gentleness of the leaves. Good effort. Good luck!

A very nice entry into the contest. The green shown against a dark tree trunk makes it stand out beautifully. The vine leaves appear so delicate and are in great focus. Good luck.
