You did a fine job with painting especially for your first with the giraffe. I especially like the clouds which are so soft, fluffy like. Parts are ao well done, they deserve a "6" or a "5 at least. I like the mouth area least and the neck and colors very much.

Wonderful painting of this giraffe that is curiously looking at the observer.

The giraffe is so well rendered with such great attention to the details that bring it to life !I love its eyes! The way you show the reflective light in the eye , it establishes a connection between the giraffe and the viewer , I feel like it is looking right at me.
Well shaped with good show of its structure and I like the way it reaches in from left and has its head turned toward me.
I like the scene you have created for the giraffe. It allows a good sense of the warm climates that are home to giraffes.
