I don't think you could get any closer than this, and you have pictured the inner part of this lovely columbine so well. A few droplets add interest and beauty.

The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in both the petals and the yellow stamens, and the exposure is spot on.

The tight cropping has worked well, and I like that the flower is centered. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Nieves, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

These close up images are just marvelous. You are able to see every detail in this flower. You are also able to the different shades of purple, with the rain droplets on the flower. Great work, thank you for sharing! Good luck in the contest!

Hi Nieves, I wish I had a six for you! I love seeing Colombine in the spring. Love the bicolor of this columbine and the bright yellow center. You captured the beauty of this graceful and elegant flower. The focus and lighting show it off beautifully. Love that you captured some water droplets on it too. Great presentation and a joy to view!

Nieves, this is a beautiful shot of a Colombine flower in full bloom. The pale Lavendar color is soothing ; the stamens and flower are in perfect focus with great detail and clarity.
