This is a beautiful composition. However, it could have been perfect if the viewer could see the top part of the sale that has been cropped out of frame. The setting sun and all its wonderful colors are quite captivating and the contrast of the silhouetted sailboat to the rest of the scene really makes for a wonderful image. Best of luck in the contest.

quite a good one but two things i have noticed this would have been better in a sunrise/sunset contest,and its a seascape not a landscape as such and i think had you taken this as the boat comes into the sun rather than gone past it think you would have had a better photo[but still worth taking]....Brian

BUT a WATER Contest NOT all else. you need to be present to KNOW THE FLOW like I DO but changes by the SECOND not tide table.12 hour. shifts.

Worst on EAST Coast and IF over 8 ft waves in INLET Your SUNK on JETTY ROCKS so looks are deceiving, AND COST " Lives" ???

Hi, Happy You Enjoy The Sunrise on The Mouth of Barnegat Inlet, blur jetty rock in FRONT RIGHT Corner You View. but 30/40 feet to the right of sailboat other side NORTH SIDE on THE ROCKS, a 1 1/2 hour ride and pay fee but need 4 wheel drive for ISLAND BEACH
STATE PARK across the way to THE Left of You, Wink. imagine a 13 ft mckee craft riding a 93 ft MISS Barnegat LIGHT Charter and RIDE IT'S WAKE IN OR OUT of The Inlet WAs CRAZY BUT SO COOL crazy ones back IN THE DAY> butt 2025 here we ARE. Thank You.

he ran a marina with his knowledge up north jersey funny 20 miles from LAKE HOPACTCONG the Biggest Lake in Jersey we grew up on the Bottom of The Lake in LANDING New Jersey, FISH on. wink.
