This looks like a Kallima Sylvia Butterfly. It is a great shot, but I think it would make a great composition if the viewer could see it on the branch, this way, it looks like a specimen. The color is beautiful and the focus is nice and sharp. I've only seen these butterflies in places exhibiting butterflies. Was this shot taken around your house or at a butterfly conservatory?

Butterfly palace in Branson, Missouri. We've stayed in a pretty clean and small hotel, and the price is nothing. About (5) minutes to Butterfly Palance.
