HI Maureen, I like you apples by the teakettle image. I think the red draws you in. You did a vey nice job with the coloration of the apples and placed them in a nice setting! I wonder if someone is going to make apple pie! YUM! I also think this has a nice cozy feeling! I enjoyed!

This is a lovely still life. And for some reason, it evokes memories of one of my grandmothers. Your apples look absolutely delicious. I love that little leaf that is hanging from one of them. It's very well done.
Your teapot has a luster to it that shows your talent in its shine. There is lots of warmth and serenity in this piece of artwork and again, that's due to your tremendous talent at creating realism and evoking emotion from the viewer.

The green wall with its shadows is really nice; the pot with its reflections, is painterly as is the whole scene. Done in soft pastel the apples are painterly, albeit some broken up. Best wishes in the contest. The title is appropriate.
