What a beautiful rose. Love that you captured the rain or dew drops in the petals. I am a real fan of taking dew. The only thing I would suggest, and it's just me, is I would crop a small amount off the top, not much. That would make it not so centered and ad balance. I like the nice bokeh background as well. Nice shot Paul :)

Good use of dof in this and the plain background does make the rose stand out in this of course being red also helps with this one,maybe i might have cropped a tad of the left in this...Brian

This rose looks like velvet. The tiny dew drops on the petals appear to be exactly the right size for the blossoming rose. The subtle background brings a relaxed nature to the vibrant rose.

So natural and elegant. I like the diagonal presentation and how the crimson bud created a striking contrast of the light green background. Excellent focus, lighting, and angle. The square frame fits well. Those tiny drops added a sense of refreshing scene to your red rose. A great entry to this Flower Contest. Wish you all the best, Paul.
