Wow... I love this shot, I agree, the detail in the eyes, feathers (and beak) are amazing. Would have been a great shot with out the seed, but that just made it outstanding!! Great image... (wouldn't change a thing)

This is a fantastic macro shot! The details in the feathers give us a glimpse how varied they are although we don't get to see all the variations from far away. The sunflower husk just hanging from the beak is just precious. And her eye does have that twinkle. Total and completely awesome photo. Good luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing.
