This is so lovely and close up, but still crisp and clear. I really like it, and I like the fact that the background is out of focus and therefor not distracting.

What a fabulous close up of this lovely bird - I love the sound they make. We have a lot around here too - they also know they are safe at our house. I like how you have captured the bird's soft and natural colors - especially the eyes and the feet. Beautiful focus and detail

AWWW I love these guys. I have a neighbor a few houses away that has homing pidgies. These guys have a beautiful sound to them. :) Nice sharp focus.

He is so gorgeous with those innocent eyes. Shows they are smarter than man. i am glad they have a safe haven in your yard. We have top notch pidgeons in our yard and I took a baby one to a vet as it had fallen out of the nest and he said BUT it is only a pidgeon. SO!!! Beautiful photo

Beside the great focus and composition the best feature is the outstanding lighting and clarity. I can't find anything not to like about this photo. I take bird pictures myself and I am jealous.
