A beautiful composition. Great treed, countryside background, wood fence, and the dog in the beach. You've drawn and painted, Polly well, as if he is really thirsty, and it looks like a photograph. Well done and painted with great skills.

I think this is a lovely picture done in water color, and what I like the best are the use of such delicate and subtle colors. The whole scene looks so peaceful and the lovely dog of course adds a lot of interest. I like the way the trees seems to bed over the pond of water.
You have managed to bring out a very nice shine in the water and have not forgotten the reflection from the dog. I also think the trees have such elegant lines. As far as I can judge the brush work is really good, and everything is done with good attention to detail.
It is a good flow in the composition and the space is used well. I think it is very effective that some places are left out to be just white. I think the picture is well balanced and indeed well crafted.

i feel a strong sense of slimpicity in this nice landscape painting that makes me feel good and attract to this painting. the dog adds a lot of class and style to the work that adds to it's overall quality. it's very soft with very light pastel colors that makes the atomspheric perspective very convincing and alive. very nice work. thanks for sharing

Really a very nice work, Suzanne! Love how you have Polly in the composition, and so easily visible even tho not really large. The trees are very interesting and add to an excellent image. I like the way you have left the edges. Nice work as always.

Pretty pastel colors. I absolutely love the trees. It looks like the wind is blowing them over. The dog in the center is an interesting subject. A soft and pretty painting done well!
