I do like it. Very nicely painted showing great detail. Very nice colours. Great light and shadow. I especially like the reflections in the puddles. Is this an actual place in the Yorkshire Dales?

Oh yes the figures and the lovely stone walls lead the eye right to the distant mountains Suzanne. A lovely scene depicting the dales very well on a wet day. Well done and thanks for sharing.

An excellent job on this painting, Suzanne! It's a beautiful rainy day landscape of a deary day with some pretty clouds, hills and cobblestone lane:) Yes, my eyes are drawn to the two figures as they fight the rain and blowing cold wind to get 'wherever, it is they are going. It's a terrific Painting for a early Spring day:) Wonderful job, Suzanne.. thank you for sharing it!

This colors that you choose for the rainy day were perfect! The gloomy dark clouds and the bright red and blue rain coats.I see a face in the clouds I love the extra fine details in the puddles and shadows and reflections from the water! Well done! Good luck.

UK Weather Loll and usual ambiance - great landscape again with the typical stone walls that are marking the scene - fantastic painting , great rainy ambiance in a positive way, it looks beautiful and healthy, giving nature the perfect water quantity it needs - the up rising light is just excellent in placement and luminosity, showing the end of the gentle rain and a glimpse of a wonderful blue sky to com along with it -
Your detail work on the different subjects is fantastic, like the stones , Mom and girl - the wood of the barn and the wonderful land

Very dramatic setting, with Little Girl and that adult. Excellent clarity of the textures of the stoned wall and its natural colors. Composition and painting skill, more than five rating.
