Can relate, at the present time, have two wolfhounds on the couch and one in my easy chair. You almost captured the mood except two of ours are on their backs. Great image of reality - thanks.

This is such a lovely oil painting. I like the character of the animals that you have captured. There is a nice warm glow to this. Thank you for sharing.

I really like this. Don't they look comfy? Nothing like pets to make a home complete. The only thing I would have done differently is make a slight change in the color of the rug the dog is on. The paws and tail blend in with the white rug too well.

This is a beautiful picture of your pets by the fire. They look so content and well cared for. Your artisitc skill is excellent; your color harmony is lovely, and the scene is great.
It's wonderful that you have rescue animals. I, too have rescued many dogs and cats.

Looks like a good spot for us all to be. They look so comfortable that you want to lay down beside the. Good compostion and the pastel colors help add to the peacefulness. Good show.

This is a lovely piece! This is such a traditional picture in many homes around the world with our pets in front of the fire. It would be "naked" with out them their. Its relaxing and peaceful just to see them there. A wonderful scene! A picture on the wall would have been nice.

Hi oh how I love the idea behind this warm family portrait. I can just see you all relaxing and enjoying an evening at home with your best friends. This is a great composition and you have made the warmth so apparent with your choice of warm colors. Your shadows are good though the candle stick shadow should be leaning more toward the stove according to the way you have shown all the other shadows. Of course there could be a light on to make that happen. the only other thing you might have done would be to darken the dog just a speck because the shadow from the fire might leave him l bit darker as he come toward the front..Hope I am making some sense here. Even kitty would be lighter near the fire. Sometimes I worry that my comments might make you feel bad please remember I am just another artist trying to help . Going to art school many years ago taught me that other critiques made me a better artist. Great work and keep it coming. Carole
