Normally I skip over most of the mixed media manipulations that involve taking an image and distorting it into kaleidescopic images, because it's really not my cup of tea. however, I really like this one, and the reason this stands out to me is the fantastic textures and the B/W. Well done

Very effective - the black and white treatment and the wonderful detail in the leaves and the trees are perfect. The whole has the appearance of a wood-cut, very skillfully rendered.

i like the textural desighen of this piece it has alot of old charm about it now this is a story to be told here i like all the different movement in this piece ilike the few leaves that are left show's a little life hanging on i like the different shadow's and the angle's of the root system good job arthound

This is awesome the way you have done this. The textural qualities in this and the way you have the tree are excellent. I like the way you put the leaves in this too. Great depth, lighting, and detail in this. A neat work of art.

Amazing how those old oak trees make such interesting subjects to photograph and paint on canvas. This is a good shot of the wonderful texture of the skin of the tree. Tie a yellow ribbon 'round this.
