What an interesting cat the way you have drawn him. He looks all fluffed up and mad. The detail in his fur and the way you did his eyes are great. An excellent and creative work of art.

very good sketch and nice shading.this pastel work is really good and creative,having a 3 d look.the floor looks good with brown and yellow shades.the shadow is coloured very nicely too.A little bit more brightness in the eyes would make it more attractive.nice work.

This is so cute! the detail is very good in this cat. Your technique has worked well and the use of the soft pastels has presented this nicely. Glad to see you have chosen to rescue this kitty! We have one that we got from a sanctuary so I know the experience!

Only give him 3.5 because he do not look kindly in my eye, like a male (like the cat my next door) The art work worth more ! Seem like he is well groomed cat in the drawing. I like the coloring in his ears and the way the white and black blend to gather. The wood well executed as well

Smudge, what a great name and good for your son and your daughter-in-law for taking in this animal. My fiance and I just took in a cat as well, we named her begal, because she looks like an everything begal, you know spots of poppy seeds, onions, garlic, and other ingredients. She has marking all over her body and in four different colors. She is cute.
Your work is great here, really technically sound and have really brought out every detail in the cats face, expression and the long fur, hence the fluffmonster nane! Great work and thank you for sharing.

Really good renditsion of him they are hard subjects to draw or any thing they don't like to sit to long at lease mine don't IM like the fur that you did and the look in his eyes and the way you showed his depth in his position that you have him in good artwork arthound john

Ha, the male thing. So right! He is a cool looking cat. Nice pastel with such a wonderful feel in the strokes. I like his half closed eye mood, LOL, this cat has got it made. Nice, wonderful, expressive work!! Mike likes it!!
