Beautiful color pallet and excellent composition over all, leaving lots of depth. Impressionist back ground lends so well to this and makes your Jay really pop. Details in the snowy, icy leaf expressions are beautiful projecting a wonderful image to view and enjoy. Thank You for sharing,

Very cute! I like the simplicity of the bird and the position you placed him in creates an interesting composition. I also like the effect of the leaves with the pink color and the leaf veins seen through them. nice job!

I love it! I like the simplicity and the beautiful collors. It looks as if it is cold and there is frost on the branches and leaves but yet the sun is about to come out. He is sitting on the branch just like Jays do in reality. Beautiful job. Again, I love it. If I could give you a 10, I would

I love your expression "a botched attempt at reality"...I will have to remember that one. This is anything but "botched". As I have said probably too many times already, I like simplicity. This is lovely. I especially like the lightly frost covered limbs, the transparent leaves and the lovely little bird looking like he is in the middle of singing a song. This, as always, is very good work. I like this one very much.

I love your expression "a botched attempt at reality"...I will have to remember that one. This is anything but "botched". As I have said probably too many times already, I like simplicity. This is lovely. I especially like the lightly frost covered limbs, the transparent leaves and the lovely little bird looking like he is in the middle of singing a song. This, as always, is very good work. I like this one very much.

Haven't seen one of these birds around here for quite a spell - there used to be one that adopted us.
Nicely done, simple but evokes images of spring and renewal. You capture the essence of the subject with an economy of detail but sufficient to convey the mood.
