another wonderful piece of art work...the eye is carefully crafted and rendered with such great attention to detail...the hair around the eye is nicely painted to convey the fundamental stripes of this animal...I personally like more of your whole renderings of animals...this is great work but I am more connected to seeing the entire animal itself...well done though and thanks for sharing

is the acrylic ink expensive? I was looking at some in the dick click catalogue and it was pricey. wondering if you know a better place to get it.
the eye is pretty in green and the sky there is great. reflective of out environment. hmmm a bit philosphical??

Thank you, Doris. I get the acrylic ink from the SAA in the UK and it's about the same price as other types of paint, £3 to £4 per tube although cheaper if you buy a set. You only use a little so they do last a long time. Suzanne

I love the reflection in the tiger's eye. The green coloring is so realistic. Great job on the fur and the design. This is a very nice piece.

I could tell this is an eye of a tiger without you telling me so. how you framed this eye on the canvas is excellent. impact, detail, and outstanding artistic work making this eye come to life. love the colors true to life for a tiger, but the eye is spectacular with color and dimension outstanding

Tremendous fine detail and color in the markings of this eye in your acrylic inks. About as realistic as it can possibly get with magnificent color in it and surrounding it. Very nicely done piece.

Eyes are interesting since every living thing seems to have different kinds of eye! But looking at eyes always makes my own water! Not so sure I would have recognized this as an eye of a tiger, although I can see black markings which do resemble stripes. Probably not been this close up to the eye of a tiger before and I know I never will be in real life! The eye has reflections in the pupil and also you have managed to get a glassy or wet look. The colours in the eye look very realistc. Good Luck in the contest at voting time.
