What a fun shot and interesting too! If only I had a spare 5 minutes in the morning I could try this.
I love the colours and lighting and entertainment value here. A very creative piece of work.
Good luck!

Thank you John, I appreciate your through review very much. They are easy to eat, they are replaceable and wouldn't hold up anyway. Just think how this would look after three days...

There was a time in which food art was popular. It might still be, I am not an artist, but do appreciate art and studied it extensively.
Your food art is quite interesting
This photo offers a new perspective in cooking.

Thank you very much for your kind review. Yes it is tasty but there is something wrong with that new medium. It won't hold up.

Such fun toast! You've made a very cool face with your food! Really nice lighting and I like what you did with the plaid, very pretty. Best of luck!

Very interresting way of handleing this topic! Clever use of food. Good use of framing and overall good lighting. I may have liked to have seen a little less shadow but then again it may actually add more realizm to the shot. Thanks for sharing.

The face certainly would give you something to think about when taking a bite. I like the creativity put into this simple as it is. Colors are good. Initial impact, clarity, lighting and composition are very good. Good luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing.

Can see baked beans for the mouth, what are the eyes?
Nice idea, like the way you have coloured the plate think white would have been too bright.
Would have used some type of flash to remove the shadowing from the top and give make the edges of the toast clearer as the seem to fade into the background too easily.
Love the detail in the tast itself.
Nice idea, good luck in the comp, Mark

Thank you mark, especially for your suggestions. I have to admit that I have the toast fade into shadows in purpose. I didn't want any attention on the toast but on the cheese decorations. I used black peppercorn for the eyes. Beans would have been to big and coriander to small and colorless. The mouth is made with the juicy part of a tomato with the seats in it.
