Im really not familer with this type of work but I like what you have here with a nice composition and colors. Good highlights and shadow graduation. I knocked half a point off on the tech side because the antinas seem like
they look overshapenned but that is minor so it did not effect the score.
Thanks for sharing.......:)

Thank you very much Paul, I think I had a too sharp pencil for the antennas, maybe I had the pencil tool a number too big but I think I just didn't mixed the color right. It's to dark I think. That a very new program [at least for me] I used here. I'm still learning it.

Lovely painting Cleo. I really like the strong brush strokes you have in this. I have been looking at Artragist. Am excited to be able to get it and give it a try. Lovely composition and great color choices. Best of luck in the contest.

Thank you so much for yor review and the wishes. I'm still learning the program. I used the knife, the glitter tube [ non metallic colors] a couple brushes and the pencil tool for the legs and antennas. I think you will love the program but be careful it seams ti be addictive. It had me so tide up that I did fall back with everything else.

I think I'm coming along okay. I'm still non-weight bearing but they are going to re-evaluate me in two more weeks so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be able to have a least partial weight after that. It's just so hard to be careful all of the time! It has really opened my eyes to how much I take for granted when all my parts are working. God designed a pretty wonderful machine in us humans :)

Happy to hear you are doing better. Yes it's a wonderful machine this body but unfortunately the parts are getting rusty wile time passes by.

The colors and the composition are simply outstanding.
The soft white on the left is just so amazing, it looks like the mist! and it blends so well with the green color!
the butterfly is nice too. good color choice

Looks like an oil painting. Nice colour, idea and use of the DA medium. It is very apt for this competition and has been very well executed. All up it is a really nice piece of artwork that you should be pretty pleased with. Robin.

Thank you so much Robin. This new program allows me to chose canvas, wetness, type of pain etc. almost like old fashion painting. I had chosen oil paint and non metallic glitter tube for this one and smoothed it with the brushes.

I know ZERO about DA but find it all rather amazing as to what folk can do. Maybe, I'll learn in my next life...if there is such a thing...either that or someone has to help wean me off the smell of oils. LOL. Thanks for filling me in on how you achieved this. Robin
