I know what you mean about that silence. Even the air seems to stand still. When the sun breaks through everything gets stirred up again. This is a very beautiful phto and a good entry. I love the placement of the silhouette within the framing. Excellent. Good luck with your entry.

Wow, I totally identify with this feeling. Many days I have made special journeys through the night to the mountains to be present to see dawn breaking over the valleys. I have always loved to experience this silence. The silence as if in silent preparation for the onrush of a new day. The moment when you cross over from the temporal into the spiritual; when time as an entity ceases to exist and you begin experiencing the Eternal. This is truly magnificent and the story tell poetic.
