I think this is very well done. The initial impact is arresting. The symbol of an exploding apple certainly suggests a warning. I like of the vibrant colors and shadows. The eye is drawn to the apple and waits.

Interesting creation and the idea of winter overtaking fall as it flies away like a hot air balloon is really unique. I like the first fingers of the icy chill reaching around the apple as if to hold it into a icy grip. Very soon now I will be dealing with the old icy fellow myself and I may just retreat to Palm Springs for a month or two of golf!..lol Nice layers and very visible depth Shawn.The shadow of the apple helps a lot in that department I think...Dennis

Very beautiful image and very expressive. Love the fall leaf at the top and your apple is well painted also. Like how you incorporated the clouds to come in front of the apple creating an atmospheric look. All around exceptional piece with good impact for the viewer. Love it!
