I love the romance of this piece. It's a striking art work and very appealing too.
I can't believe the candle and the reflection too. It's great.
The lean of the rose with the darkened leaves looks just fine to me and the fan of purple light works well as an eyecatching background.
Good colour tones present well and it doesn't look like you painted it in the 70's either!!!

Love the red with the black petals, the candle in the forefront throwing the light and shadow is perfect, and the well lit spray of light is inspired for the background

It looks good now. Love the lighted edges of the petals from the candle which is excellently portrayed itself. Great job on the flame. The purple rays make a great background. Nice color throughout. Impact, creativity and presentation are very good. Thanks for sharing.

One of my favorite color combos you used for this.The simplicity is very nice and the background is gorgeous.It provides a wonderful staging for the rose and the candle.I always enjoy the reflections that you put into paintings such as this.It gives then some nice dimension.
