I like the technique that you used for this.I like the deeper and the darker colors within the painting however I think you are sure that I personally don't like pastel work for the most part.You could send me a paint by number so I could do something that looks as good as yours though!!

Hi, Angel. I remember about the bright and bold colors, but this one wasn't lending itself to anything but pastels. :) I have this strange brown colored gradient, that when you invert it, it turns the most beautiful blue. That's what I used, and I had it green, orange, well...you name it. Anyway it looked the best as it is now. Again, thank you, Angel

Don't feel bad :) I was just letting you know that this is the original. The filter I mentioned, I worked into the painting, and then did work on top of that after I applied the filter. So it was used from the beginning of the work. By the way...WELCOME to FAR! Good to have you aboard :)

This has great impact and the colors are lovely and restful. The overall composition is good. I would suggest that you try blending the layers of color in the background a little more, but over all, well done.

I thank you for taking the time to review this for me, Pauline. I stated in my notes that this is poster art, it's supposed to be that way. The posterize filter separates the colors, so it's that way intentionally :)

It's a beautiful painting.
I see it large size in thin navy-blue frame on a wall.
Very good composition and it's amazing how different shades of blue made the impact.
Great blend and love the softness to it.
