This doesn't quite work for me.
The old broken watch stands out so much because of that light reflecting on the top.
I would have preferred to see more details on the pottery.
Good luck in the competition.

Seems my concept dosn't work out and I have the wrong title. They are circles of time, one partial and old, one full and new but both broken. I wanted the watch stand out because it seems brand new but is already broken wile the pottery looks old. Sorry there isn't much detail on this pottery. In spite of the old look it was an not so good fake for the tourist trade even in it's better times without much detail or color.

Good idea for a composition and the lighting is nice. I can't see where the pottery is broken though and the watch looks very modern in comparison. Good luck to you.

Hi, I understand the ancient Native American pottery motives but I miss the point of the watch as it is quite new. Great colours on the pottery. I would have enjoyed to see more and perhaps as much clarity as with the watch. Good luck in the competition

Mmm. I should have called it on the edges of time. The old and new represent the relativity of time. The pottery is Mayan. The Mayan don't see time as we do but as repiting circles, two of them whist teeth catching each other, driving time as the mechanics of a clock or watch. The broken pottery is part of a circle, the watch is a full circle of time. time is touching time. For us its past, present and future. For the universe as for the Mayan people is always present. Thank you for your kind review and your question. Sorry for being so late with the answer.

Great impact. Really like the faded colours and detail of the table contrasted against the new sleek shiny watch. It look a little forlorn without its straps. The flash of light coming from the right works well.
