I wouldn't hang it in my house, either, but I do think it's a sensational work of art, Shawn. It's striking. I love the simplicity of the pitch black and the greens. The evil talons give it tremendous story telling potential--and, I've no doubt it won't be long before it's feature on fanstory.
Sure wish I had more than five to give you.

First, for orginality. I love how you have the evil looking hand grapping for the apple. And if I was writing a story about it the person taking the apple would be satan and he is about to give it to Eve.
The colors are good and I like the jet black background which highlights the apple.

Hmmm - would I hang it on the wall - I don't think I'd dismiss it so easily. Like the deifnition in the leaves and the branch. not sure of the light source corrsponds exactly to the shadows but close enough. I think I would have like to have seen a little more ahnd/claw or even the same image without the hand. Either way nicely done

i can see a beautiful image but i imagine there is evil behind it with the claw around it,,loads of story telling ability in the right hands beautiful work

Wow, very extraterestrial! I see an alien visitor very attracted by the beauties and tastes of the Earth, envying the richness of the planet (watch out!). Splendid greens, very creative realization of the flamed reptilian hand - gorgeous!

A very cool shot. It is very open to interpretation. I see it as the devil taking the apple to seduce Eve.
