I'd say it must be fun being in your head, to see the inner workings of the mind this image came from.
That aside:
To me the balance, and composition, both are well done.
The light is soft and other worldly nice.
The colors play extremely well together.
I see a highly creative and skilled imagination.
I see a high degree of technical excellence.
Also I see a high level of sophistication in the overall appearance of this image.
I believe that this image carries a high capacity for story telling
