I like the intial impact because it makes me think what she is thinking. I could make a lot of stories out of what she is there for. The colors are nice with good contrast and brightness. It has a sense of depth from her elbow to her face and then her knee which you can barely see before the background. The rule of thirds has her face right in the point of interest. I hope you also got a picture of her while she ahd a big smile on her face in the same position. Good job. I am unemployed myself and am trying to make something out of my photography so I can make a living on my own. I've been here about a week and am in the A Touch Of Light contest with a sunset and daisies in my picture. I hope I get something worth while.

I really enjoyed viewing this photo. The sweet little girl tells the story she has had a fun day but she's really tired!! The colors are so beautiful and her eyes are gorgeous!! Great shot! There are endless stories behind this precious face. The lighting is wonderful. You did a great job!!

Not crazy about the elbow coming at my face but love the way you captured her innocences and contrasted her against the roughness of the wood and darkness of thewood pile behind her. It is a beutiful portrait. Her hair is shiny, just a pretty little girl.Great coloring, focus and setting.

You did a nice job of setting this one up. Love the old building framing her. And with the hand up like that she looks so professional. Focus is very good. Framing is well done.

Another excellent family portrait. You certainly know how to capture people differently. Love her pose and expression. Good focus and light as well.

The only thing I would change about this willie is placement of her arm and hand-she is sitting too low -giving the placement of her arm and hand an uncomfortable look- have her sit up on a bucket or something that will raise her up higher-otherwise this is a lovely image- the lighting is right on -the wood framing is very nice-and she of course is the center of attention with all that blonde hair, pretty blue eyes and a little touch of pink on her lips-her eyes have the impact and that is totally what matters-- great job-

I got to thinking after AIA posted that unless there is another railing if you raise her higher the rail will be in front of her face- what to do-ah maybe have her place her arms both out in front and rest her chin on her hands? just a thought- it really is a great shot willie
