The detail in this photograph that I find most appealing is the little splashes around his feet, which are illustrated beautifully in this shot. Great texture to the water, good lighting and focus.

Nice shot.
Composition and cropping are good. Exposure, contrast, white balance and saturation are good. Focus is dead on and the depth of field looks very nice.

Willie, I find that almost everyone on here gives 5 star ratings for most anything. I have seen some really ugly work with a 5 star rating. I have given a 5 star rating maybe 4 times in the last four months. I've only given a 6 star rating one time EVER. I just think that somehow we got into the habit of thinking that everything should get 5 stars. I just don't agree with that.
