This photo looks very good in B/W.
The angle and perspective are very good and the eye travel into the photo towards what looks like the falls.

Initial impact; Lazy river is a good title. Lighting is bright and from the left side. Looks like it could be mid-morning. Action that slow moving river going by. Nice
presentation. Color harmony; none since this was converted to B&W. There are some shots that avail themselves well to being converted to B&W. I'm not sure this is one of those. Center of interest is the slow moving water of the river. Cropping is good. Focus is good. Depth of field is working very well at the other end of the river. Story telling; What there was in the artist notes.

There really is something about black and white photography - it has a kind of formalism to it that makes you at things in a slightly different way. This is a nice shot with great gray tones. The slight tilt to the left seem to add to the lazy flow of the river and doesn't hurt the composition.

Would love to have seen this one in color. If I was going to do this in black and white the saturation and contrast would have to be enhanced. I tis unfortunately altogether too grey as it is now. I think the large rock in the centre had the potential for greater interest in color given that even in black and white the striations are obvious and could have lent a great deal of interest in color.
