Nice job. The black background really sets it off. Good focus and exposure, except for the very center of the rose as indicated. It is totally washed out. Fairly good visual impact. I would like to see some of the other shots you did. Thanks.

Very captivating. I think you made a very wise choice with a red rose. I use a red filter on my digital to enhance my black and white contrast. The way you captured this almost gives the flower a chiseled stone look. Great DOF and great lighting. I think you chose the flower in the right stages of blooming as well. Very nice work, thanks for sharing.

Center of interest is this Beautiful rose.( you might crop closer to center of interest to bring more focus on the Beautiful center of interest here.Just my opinion.
