Hello there, says this beauty:) Wonderful portrait, amazing details in the feathers, I'd like to feel the softness of the feathers. Beautiful colors too. And, of course, perfect timing and pure luck with this curious creature:) Thanks so much for sharing this.

Wow, this is an amazing photo!
Such a great close up shot, excellent focus and detail. I feel like it is looking right at me! Lovely color andsuperb sharpness- if I had a 6 star left you would get it! Great job!

Great closeup with lovely detail in his feathers and eyes. Good lighting and the plain background works well to outline him.

It took me a bit to figure it out. Thanks for the process of getting this interesting capture. Very good detail! Did it peck the lens?

beautiful willie. great colors, great focus. nicely framed. good story. hold interest. all the good stuff. But you got to get off that auto setting. you could have traded some of that speed of shutter for higher fstop and increase the focus. I know you must think im picking on you but your stuff is great and once you get a command of the shutter/fstop your stuff is going to be awesome.

Thank you so very much! I need to dig out my book and see if I can figure it out. I agree I need to learn more about my camera.

What an extraordinary shot! Love the way you've managed to focus on the eyes, (how did you do that when he moves so fast?!), which are checking you out big time: as you said, he definitely knows something's going on! Great centre of interest, initial impact very strong, nice colour harmony and great story telling ability, supported by great artist notes. Love the slight cock of the head and the way the beak is out of focus as well. A wonderful photo, many thanks for sharing :)
