That beautiful golden yellow just pops off that black background. Love the light kissing the edge of the stem behind the flower. Good exposure for such bright light.

Great sharpness and detail in the petals of the flower. I like the lighting and the striking composition. Especially nice lighting on the stems

Very good picture!! Its Autumn here, or fall I think you call it there.
Very nice colour, focus is perfect too!
We call these flowers here "pee the beds", we were told as kids, that if we picked them, we would pee the bed during the night, hence we never picked them!! Anyway I always enjoy your work!! Well done

First sign of spring perfectly captured. It's sharp from top to bottom and the yellow pops out. It's a beautiful picture of a singularly usual flower. I like the dark background blurred, it gives this flower a very good way to express its happiness to see the sun.

Another nice one Annie, focus is great, colour and contrast are good. The dark background makes the yellow Coltsfoot stand out dramatically. The soft focus on the stem behind the flower adds a very pleasing sense of depth.
I really like your notes,I find that very interesting, I wish more people would spend a little more time explaining the post they enter. If you wouldn't of added your notes all that would be to me is a simple yellow flower, your notes made it a pleasure to view it. Thanks
Nice Job

You are Welcome, I relly do like notes on a post, A little time spent explaining what we are looking at goes along way with me. People who just post pictures with no info is a pain. I won't look at them. Just putting a picture of Bob don't work.
