Great shot..so sweet. you have engaged with her perfectly the eyes say it all even if the smile is a little unsure...great focus,light, color and contrast. The softer backdrop tones work well and both subject matters grab the eye and draws you in...

The pet adds interest to the picture, and together with those gorgeous eyes,a 'look at me' impact id displayed.
Am sure she could many a tale about her unique pet.

Even tho her smile is forced you can see she is proud of her pet in her eyes. Its a very nice shot. The contrast etween the pets head and her coat make it stand out.

Beautiful little model. The lighting is great and the editing afterwards appropriate. Bright blue eyes, lovely curly hair and her proud chicken. The colors of her jacket really work well in this photo.

Nice clear portrait, with excellent focus and well-judged lighting, retaining good levels of detail on the dark areas and no hot spots on the skin. Good light in the eyes of both the girl and cockerel. I'd have liked a little less tight crop on 3 sides but more of a crop along the bottom but it's a lovely and unusual picture.
