What a way to begin the day with a sight like this. The sky and all that color is amazing. I like your write up and the way you said what this color comes from. Who would have thought dust would cause this much color in the sky. I like the way you still see some of the buildings and foliage just showing up at the bottom of the picture. An excellent picture.

Thank you Anne, Yes danger and beauty are very close together. Wile all of nature struggles under the drought and the dust creates a danger for air crafts natures paint brush gives us beauty.

Brilliant colors and great sillouete images here. Your color and focus is perfect. Thanks so much for the artist notes. Although a bit confused by the aperture 2875, was this a typo. If not wish my camera had it LOL. Anyway great shot enjoyed viewing

Thank you very much. No it's not a typo. The camera was set manually. The unusual 2875 occurs because I was playing a bit against the book. I was playing around with the settings in order to get the most authentic of the unusual light. The features were mostly set for a cloudy day but I had the white ball set to natural fluorescent light because it was dark but there was some glare in the air.

Thank you very much. That is not New Mexico. It's much farther down and south of the border. It is not the US but the most southern part of old Mexico near the Belize border.

Gorgeous sunrise! The colors are spectacular and I love all the variations in the clouds making for some interesting shapes and varous shades of orange. I also like the point of view where there is only a small silhouette of the land and the photo is concentrated mostly on the gorgeous sky. Great shot!
