I love this photograph ! the heron is so fascinating to watch , but usually for a long long time ,as it rests and looks for snacks for hours sometimes ..usually rewarding you with something really special ; your colours are absolutely beautiful , the technical aspects are excellent ! capturing it as it flies off is an accomplishment in its self , great shot !

What an incredible action shot!You can see the tension in the bird as it prepares to take off.Lovely subtle reflections which add to the picture rather than being a distraction. Thank you for sharing :)

wow just an amazing capture willie. (hope all is well). Love the composition. Lighting is nice and warm, love morning light. Noise is minimal in this considering such a high ISO. Nice work!

Thank you so very much! I had noise in some others that was too bad to use! I wish there was something I could do to get the shutter speed high without getting the noise!
