This is a lovely fresh breath of spring portrayed here in
the yellow wildflower. Good details of the petals and brown and gold center. Driving through Maine you will find rows and rows of Daisies growing in the wild. Love the blue and green colors of nature in the background.
Another digital delight.

This is a perfect entry for this contest! I think this bright , sunshine yellow flower is a wonderful sign of spring, it is a flower that actually looks very similar to the wild flowers I see here, and they always grow very close to water. Here you have created this one with such realistic shape and structure, it is well shown center detail too and I like the golden tones you have applied there, the petals are showing such nice detail , I see another stem of wildflowers that look like little yellow puffs to the left and again, I have seen these growing wild here too, I like the placement of the main flower and the way it is standing out from its supporting greenery, I get a sense that these are growing at the edge of the water too. It's a lovely blend of blue tones in the water the palest tones must be clouds that are reflecting there.
This is very well created Cleo, it's beautifully arranged and presented, it's truly a pleasure to view! Best wishes to you in this contest!

This is lovely! Lovely colour palette chosen, the blues and yellows really compliment each other well. I like the painted effect created, its given the piece a lovely soft feel. Thank you very much for your review and the kind wishes. A positive review from you means a lot to me. Thank you for noting the shape of the canvas. Thats one of the advances of digital painting. I usually have some conception in my head before I start. Most the time I paint the background just like in traditional painting but after that I lay a transparent scratch over and move it around and crop the canvas until I like it best. Than I paint the layers and take the scratch out before I melt the layers together. It's much easier to cover mistakes than it is in traditional painting except when one forgets to save the layers.

Sounds like great fun, one of these days I will treat myself to a decent computer so I can have a play as well. You did a fine job with this one :)
