I'm not sure why but this photo evokes a real nostalgic feeling for me. It reminds me of something my grandmother had - perhaps the decoration on her jewelry box. Like the bright, bold reds against the pale pastels - makes the roses really stand out. The shading on the roses picks up a darker tone of the same purple which brings the whole image together. Very nicely done! Lynnmarie

I like the way you added smaller purple flowers in the background. This really adds additional depth and interest to your painting. Nice placement of the flowers and stem. The soft background works nicely with the flowers.

Oh this is very beautiful indeed. So gentle and soft. I don't exactly know what a digital painting is, but to me it looks like a 'painting', which I find find wonderbeautiful! The little violet flowers in the background blend so beautifully with the dominant red/fuchsia. Veeery nice!
