Great back story. I do really like the shot of the gate. The bark border is a bit distracting to me, and takes away from the simple beauty of the gate. The highlights in the greenery around the gate are nice as well. I think this shot would be cool if you cropped the photo around the gate. Thanks for sharing.

I like the notes av but not sure why the bottom of the gate is covered with another layer?
I would have preferred to see the whole gate as it is to keep focus on the main focal point of the story

I love the story! I am glad you have not got rid of the gate! I really had to look twice at the digital creation here...it is very realistic with the framing of the tree. I really like this one. Good composition all around. Nice texture and depth.
