Your subjects are perfect, however, the composition misses the mark. Perhaps if you had stood back further to include more of a frame or direct the girls to squat down closer with eyes open and actually do something like put the tool in the soil, you would really have something. Actually doing something gives the appearance of authenticity and naturalness.

This is a great image of the future farmers. Youth make great subjects. The image is bright and a different angle should have been used as the girls are squinting. Otherwise its well done. Good artist notes. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest.
