A lovely portrait of a cat who obviously has a great deal of character that's seen in the expression in his eyes. (Reminds of how my father looked at me when I was a kid....). The close cropping keeps one focused on that intriguing look. Quite appealing!

What a beautiful cat with gorgeous blue eyes. Good composition, but I think the image is a little underexposed. A touch of fill light in post processing would fix this in 5 seconds. Love the expression on his face and what a great story to go with the picture. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for you very much for your review and your input. I tried the fill light. It dos not work but blows the whites to much and cause loss of detail. I have already the general lighting, as the highlights and shadows adjusted as much as possible. The highlights on top of his forehead and beside his ear on the right are in the current version almost to bright. But of curse I could be wrong.

this is a finely composed cat portrait. he would make a fine drawing to. his eyes and stare are magnificent. the powder blue colour looks unusual and dynamic. he's a very lovely cat, nicely presented and skillfully framed. just the quality you expect from cleo85.

that would be awesome cleo. i have always fancied trying to produce a cat drawing, maybe i could try in pastel. would be a challenge for me.

Clearly a nice co-operative cat with impressive blue eyes. Your shot gets lots of detail for mainly a white main object. The overall result is very pleasing but I would be tempted to remove the blade of grass on the left.
Well done all-round though!

Thank you very much. I appreciate your review and your input. I will think abut the grass and take your suggestion in consideration. For me the grass represents the outdoors, removal would make it look like a studio shot. He wasn't that cooperative. I stalked him for about an hour to get about a docent photos, using the telescopic lens. It is shot from about 40 feet away. He dislike cameras. I took artist licence on the story, because it feed his expression.
