Very nice shot! The photo is clear and clean. The background is great it does not take away from the bird. The feathers look beautiful and soft. I feel as if I could reach out and touch it. Nice work.

aren't they the most fascinating little creatures ? us too , we feed them all year , I hope you use the 1 to 4 ratio , and not the red stuff they sell at the store , which is not at all good for these precious ones , would you believe some people use honey instead of sugar ? this is so harmful , but your photo is great ..love the feet ready to grab the feeder or twig ..nice clear , detailed photograph , good cropping ..

Thank you so very much! I use the four to one mixture! I am going through about six pounds of sugar a week! I have never heard of using honey! It won't be to much longer they will just be gone!

the honey is something people sometimes think of using instead of sugar , which I think in humans case is right , we never use sugar , always wild honey , but not for the hummers , it is said to cause mold or a fungus in their little bodies , so we need to educate these folks as well as big co, who sell the red stuff the dyes , also bad for them ..we have 2 variety of hummers who overwinter ..they really have needed help during the last few winters ...who knows what will happen to those who cannot adopt to the environment ..hope they all start migrating ..I loove these birds

The exposure and focus are great.

I love hummingbirds!! I also have a feeder and love to watch my little friends come by every day! I'm sad to see them go in the fall! This is a really great shot...nice clarity, focus and depth of field!
