This is outstanding again and truly reflect all these special feelings and emotions you write about in your comments. The sunlight through the trees just suggests beauty, happiness an yes, blessings. The cheerful colors of the plants emphasize the emotions as the light blue of the shadows. Even the dark wood seems cheerful. The trees seem to dance.

What a gorgeous scene you have painted and I truly love your story. You have captured the spirit of the title. All we have to do is look around us every time we go outside and we are surrounded by the wonders of nature, which are a blessing (most of the time - sometimes we get too much of a good thing). I do still remember when all three of my children were born and they are all in their mid to late forties. To me, birth of anything is a blessing and a miracle, but the birth of a child and especially your own child is probably the most glorious moment in a woman's life, at least that is how I look at it. I think you have captured the feeling extremely well. The light coming through the trees and making the end of the road a blur symbolizes how we have no idea what lies ahead for us. This reminds me of a Hebrew Proverb, "Man Plans, G-d Laughts".

I also love rays of light in art - maybe I should switch to painting, 'cause I can't seem to capture them with my camera! Very pretty colors and details in this!

I can almost imagine an angel, or other creature in the bright light! The lovely rays, and very apt title make this a real appealing picture. Donkeyoatey
