I THINK THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A FANTASTIC PICTURE EVEN IF THE KIDS WERENT IN IT-SINCE THE GRATING ON THE FLOOR AND THE BRICK WORK AND RAILING GIVE OFF A UNIQUE LOOK AND ARE VERY DETAILED-AND THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BRICK ON THE OPPOSING WALLS ADD TO IT AS WELL-THE SUBJECTS SURELY GIVE IT EMOTION AND DEPTH AND COLOUR. MAYBE THE STRUGGLE OF YOUR EARLY YEARS HAS ENRICHED YOUR ART.THE HEAD OF THE PROMINENT FIGURE MAY BE A TOUCH TOO LARGE OR SEEMING TO BE SEPARATE FROM HIS BODY -LIKE AN ADDITION.MAYBE THE SKIN TONE IS A TOUCH TOO BRIGHT-AND MAYBE ITS JUST ME--ANYWAY ITS AN INTRIGING WORK OF ART-

i disagree about the head..i knew a kid where his head is extremely large. the kids in school would call him punkinhead. still i thank u for ur time and by the way..my medium is sharpie markers..thanks for review!

WOW..Mark, this deserves a six or more that I of course don't have;) I wish that I could say that I sure am sorry for the way you were raised.. it brings tears to my eyes BUT, it has made you a wonderful caring, loving and gentail gentulman! I know that I came from a life of seeing abuse, jelousy and even hatred, A life that I wish didn't turn out the way that it did BUT it made me a stronger sentimental woman that feels and knows what it's like and in so being a comfort to those God has placed around me:) This is wonderfully inspiring and sentamental art piece that I'm sure will touch many:) Great colors, sharpness and clarity (of course creativity) making a terrific initial impact on many hearts! So, A very big smile and yes, I'll be back:)

Your drawing I thought said it all, as a picture says a thousand words, but then I read your comments, and wow! You do have a personal insight to the drawing, which clearly depicts your subject. Great perception, color, and detail in this drawing. Clearly some of the work you do should be posters for organizations with special causes. Great job as usual.

This is a great composition, but your story behind it is so sad. Glad things worked out, but it helps to point out how lucky we are. The kid in purple looks to have an adult face - maybe because he's had to grow up fast. The way they are huddled together out of the wind around the air vent speaks about their state.
