Nice technique you have with the chalk pastels! THe wolf looks very lively and wild indeed. Was the paper brown/sepia to begin with? I see that you used black and white but there are brown too which I presume is the color of the paper?

This is an excellent rendering of a wolf, it really comes alive. The background helps to accent the figure and is interesting in variation. The expression is particularly graphic as are the eyes. Great realism! Excellent drawing!
