Great action shot and a robust bit of defending going on there! It is perhaps a shame that the girl in blue (your granddaughter?) has her arm up but its a question of luck and timing. I'm no expert in this field but I believe the trick is to shoot on continuous. Anyway, nice focusing and well framed.

Thank you so very much! My granddaughter is in the purple. I shoot all my action shots in continuous. I usually shoot in 3 or 5 to a burst and refocus.

very rainy and it is about 40 deg. It is a day to stay in with a pot of hot coffee and be lazy!

I hear you. It is sunny about 72 degrees and a great day to go out and shoot pictures in my private game park.

I forgot to mention that our over night low was 63 degrees
