This is a great capture of the Cardinal. I just love the combined red and black. Good composition, focus, detail and dof. I can't see anything that requires changes. Well done. Good luck in the contest.

It is so brightly red and focused well. Sunflower seeds, huh? I just threw out some bread crumbs, so I need to try the seeds, good idea:) Nice framing.

Thank you so very much! I use a 70-300mm lens. My birds see me every day as I feed them sunflower seed!

Amazing shot. Being able to see the pupil of the eye of such a small bird is truly amazing. Focus and clarity are right on, and the coloring is 'eyecatching'. Very nice.
