Well Annie I have to say that this is surly different subject matter. I do like your choice of the background, I believe that it fits well with the appearance of the doll. At a technical stand point the photograph is very well taken. The low view point does emphasize the subject matter well. Whatever the filters where that you use to create this image worked nicely. There is a nice appearance to the photograph.
I find this interesting to view, and it does please the eye.

I like the presentation. Was this a small doll or a full sized doll? The red background against the doll's clothing is beautiful. The face does look like a diva that is very demanding of those below her. Great technique.

Very nicely done Anne, I just added a profile thought last night about the quantity of baby dolls we have been seeing (only mentioned the qty of one person taking over the front page, that I did not think it was fair. You have made a beautiful piece of art here and I am so glad you have started working with the mixed media more this year as you are very good at what you do. Sherry

Well done ! Yes, hard to miss the baby dolls.
I like the red shawl effect in the bg,
it seems to send rays from her body outward. I like the positioning of the gold boa, nicely frames the right side of the shot.
