This is a beautiful composition. The clarity of the details in the drop of water and the blurriness of the reflection in the water is fantastic. The colors and the blur of the entire background as well as the balance of this picture make it one to be proud of. You have talent.

Just stunning Annie! Most impressive shooting and to capture the beautiful image in the drop is a feat in itself! The clarity is amazing and the outlook of the image is spectacular, a work of art! The colors blend perfectly and the reflections adds a little something to make the image pop!

I am fine. I do not post as much as last year either. I use my time trying to learn Photoshop properly, and I also do more photographing. I am not willing to pay out of my own money to promote my work in the same way as I used to. I could not care less where I end up on the ranking list, and I am for sure not going to be involved in a race like last year.

Too bad though your images are of the quality you expect to see at the top of the rankings. Good for you and your practicing and learning seems to have done wonders for your images. Kind of stressful to be involved in a race to the top when your images probably take quite some time to create and don't go into the point and shoot category!

Somehow the water drop looks like a paper weight falling into a pond, reflecting in the water before it hits it. I like especially the colors here. The mostly green background works well with the reflection.

Thank yo so very much for this lovely review. I am really glad you like this. I have not given up. One day I will have a perfect (almost) photo of a drop of water with the reflection of a flower. I already have some ideas about how to achieve this. I also wish to thank you for the generous rating.
