Annie; I believe that your title is very appropriate for this image.

Your photo is very bold with color. The whole effect of the image seems to bring the colors out even more. I like the way the eye is bought into the photo with the effect of the flood filter; the colors lay upon the water effect nicely.

There is a very nice contrast between the flaming red and the yellow of the rose. The texture is what brings out the contrast of the colors.

The black of the background sets well behind the center of interest. On a personal note; I think you could have done without the orange frame; however, I have not see the image without it. There is very good depth here in the roses that is why I am thinking you didn't need the frame to enhance them.

I do like your work here Annie. I think this is a great photo, and you have done wonderfully with the enhancements. I find this very enjoyable to view!

Very nice shot. My dead roses never look this good. The look like, well, dead roses. The oranges are so vivid and cheerful. I like the orange from around the flower. It really keeps your attention on the rose. The dark background works very nice as well.
